Darkness into light 2015

We are delighted to be associated with this fantastic initiative to help some light break into the darkness in people’s lives.

Darkness Into Light is the flagship fundraising and awareness event for Pieta House, and without your support, they could not have helped so many people in suicidal distress and engaging in self-harm over the last nine years. With close to 80,000 participants last year, how could it get any bigger? But it has, and now Darkness Into Light is celebrated in 80 venues in Ireland and much further afield.

The medieval town of Kilmallock is a venue this year for the first time and we are helping with some of the lighting to help light up and display the fantastic medieval backdrop that is the town of Kilmallock to this years event. The town  still contains some fantastic buildings standing since the early days, although the original site of the town has moved and wandered a bit. It is also a medieval walled town with much of the walls still standing.

If you haven’t visited the town before , you are in for a treat as you will get a chance to see the glory that it is as it changes from Darkness into Dawn.

To get an entry form or to help support this initiative and aid the great work being done by Pieta house you can click HERE to go directly to the sign-up page.
