Punchestown 2015

Punchestown:

The dates for the 2015 Festival have been announced as Tuesday 28th April to Saturday 2nd May 2015. The Punchestown Irish National Hunt Festival is one of the highlights of the Irish sporting and social calendar. The special combination of thrilling sporting action, brilliant live entertainment, delicious food and drink, family fun, dazzling glamour or casual comfort and the unique Punchestown Festival atmosphere is beyond compare..

Racing –

The Punchestown Irish National Hunt Festival is considered the grande finale of the jump season with top class horses, trainers and jockeys from both sides of the Irish sea converging on the Kildare venue to settle scores and confirm reputations. The quality of racing is unrivalled with a total of 11 Grade 1 contests taking place. Punchestown is proud to be the home of Irish National Hunt Racing and host to the famous La Touche Cup, a spectators favourite run over the cross country course. It’s a “must see” for any racing fan.

Race Start Time –

the following times are provisional and based on the 2014 racing schedule.Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the first race goes to post at 3.40. Gates open from12 noon. The last race will be around 7.15pmOn Saturday, AES Festival Family Day, the first race is at 2.30 and the gates will open at 11.30am. You need to get there early for the complimentary childrens activities. Richard Egan Electrical clients are depending on us again this year to supply clean dependable power to some of their High grade systems on site,

Horse racing in Clonmel.

The first races of the season at Powerstown Park, Clonmel take place Tuesday 10th February this year, having been postponed for a week due to frozen ground but things look good for this week and it’s up and running.

We are turfside again this year providing clean dependable power for some of our customers.

Marlay Park Concerts 2014:

Yet again this year there is another brilliant lineup of artists to suit all tastes from Kanye West/Pharrell Williams who played on Tuesday 2nd July, Kings of Leon/Kodaline on the 4th, right through the month to the Longitude this coming weekend of the 18th to the 20th July.

Longitude Festival

Lineup at Longitude this year is unbelievably broad covering a huge range of artists including the earworm creators Hozier on the Saturday and the ever popular Massive Attack on the Sunday.

We have supplied generators which supply constant clean consistent power to some of our regular clients at the festival again this year. When you’re there keep an eye out for our gear.

Rocky Mayhem Festival 2014:

We had yet another fantastic four nights of madness and of course MAYHEM in Kilfinane in County Limerick again this year, with some of the power supplied by Richard Egan Electrical Ltd.

It was a fantastic lineup including: Country Mayhem with: Mike Denver, Mossie Richardson: Dance Mayhem with Lisa Lashes, John Gibbons, Ninjatek, JonEcrash: Rocky Mayhem with The Frank and Walters, O Emperor, Windings and finally wrapping up with Local Mayhem including Deuces Wild, Handipak, Footloose.

This festival goes from strength to strength every year and we are really looking forward to hopefully being a part of it as it grows into the future.
